the parents of diabetic kids as well as the kids themselves.
You are a rare and treasured person for all who come to

Gary,

Reading your poems inspired me to write one of my own.
I am glad I ran into you at the chat room. Thank you for
giving me the little kick I needed to put down on paper what
has been in my mind for years. My daughter will be the better
for it as she can now read it too. I hope you like it as I sent it
to you just a while ago. Talk to you again some morning :)

your poem They say.....  by: Anna Oldenhave

Dear Gary,

I am on the brink of doing a large study on support to
teens with diabetes by family, friends and agemates in
the Netherlands (500 teens age 12-18). I have made an
information brochure to invite teens to participate. I
would like to print your "They say.... " poem on it as
-first of all- it it a very pure and moving poem plus it
exactly shows what the study is about. It also shows the
teens that we do understand what diabetes is about and
that we care. Please email me. If you agree, please send
me your address and I will send you a copy of the brochure.

Greetings Anna Oldenhave
